- FL STATE LAW – Life vest must be worn by children under the age of six.
- ATLANTIC and KEYS – State waters extend to three nautical miles out. Federal rules apply beyond the three miles and extend out to 200 miles.
- GULF OF MEXICO – State waters extend to nine nautical miles out. Federal rules apply beyond the nine miles and extend out to 200 miles.
- N.Y. STATE LAW – Life vest must be worn for by children under 12 years of age when underway, but may be removed in the enclosed salon or at anchor.
- If you are a non-swimmer or not confident in staying afloat, please advise the captain during the safety talk after boarding.
- When you make your reservation please advise the approximate weight and sex of your children so the appropriate size is out.
- Please wear boat shoes or sneakers with non-marking treads and white soles.
- There will be a shoe basket for those wishing to cruise barefoot and fancy-free.
- Absolutely no high heels or black marking treads.
- Some boats offer shoe cover-ups for those more comfortable & steady with shoes.
- Service animals are welcome but must wear a properly fitted life vest with handles.
- We recommend you have them practice swimming while wearing the vest prior to the charter.
- All of your personal items can be conveniently placed in the front stateroom.
- There is a private head with a shower and an outdoor swim platform shower.
- The stateroom doors must remain open and unlocked due to escape hatches.
Policies vary depending upon yacht. Please see vessel details for a cancellation policy.
- After a brief tour aboard, there will be a short Captain’s talk that is given on the bow.
- A complimentary glass of champagne will be poured for a toast while leaving the dock. For those underage, a sparkling beverage is available.
- Your stewardess will be taking photos throughout the charter that will be shared.
- BYO cell phone charger. We recommend keeping phones safe in a basket in the covered aft deck.
- Complimentary soft drinks, sparkling/flat waters, coffee and tea will be provided.
- You are welcome to BYOB and mixers that your stewardess will happily serve.
- No need to bring a cooler, we have an electric cooler for your use.
- We have ample refrigerators, freezers, and multiple ice-makers with acrylic stemware.
- Sorry, no red wine is allowed due to staining. Rose is fine.
- Your meal will be served on a linen seascape table decorated with yacht designer dishware, gold embedded utensils, and linen napkins.
- No need to bring any paper or plastic serving items. Our yachts are equipped with everything we need to serve you.
- Please convey to the Captain if you have any allergies or medical conditions.
- It is up to you to choose and set up catering for your charter. It can be as formal or casual as you would like. Please see links below for our catering suggestions at your charter location.
- They are our yachts, your way. We encourage you to set the ambience.
- We can easily connect your phone to our surround sound systems both indoors and out.
- We encourage decorating with balloons, banners, etc. to personalize your celebration.
- Please let our concierge know if you would like to decorate.
- Cigarettes and cigars are allowed only on the aft deck with an ashtray.
- Use of any marijuana products or recreational drugs is illegal and will end the charter.
- No need to bring beach towels aboard, we have plenty.
- Please place towels on top of cushions to avoid sunscreen staining.
- When on the bow in transit, hold on to light articles such as towels, hats, and clothing because they will blow off.
- No worries about seasickness because you will be cruising calm protected water ways in both FL & The Hamptons.
- If someone is prone to motion sickness you can purchase non-prescription magnetic bracelets at the drug store.
- We ave very fortunate to utilize the Intracoastal, the Gulf of Mexico, Three Mile Harbor, Gardiner’s Bay & the protected Peconic.
